Sticklight as a host
The opportunity
We saw we have users who built their app on a competitor (Cursor, Claude, Lovable, Bolt, Base44...) and want to move it to a different platform for hosting and a better pricing deal, but are stuck in the transition. In order to get those users, and have another acquisition funnel, we decided to add an option to import their app from GitHub as a MVP.
The goal
Having new Sticklight users get to us through this funnel and use our platform first for hosting and security, and later encourage them to stay and create new projects on Sticklight.
The outcome
After the release (September 17th) we saw we do have users getting to Sticklight from it. we keep on monitoring their steps, and plan how to enlarge this feature (import the code directly to us, and skipping GitHub).
